Dr. Frank Musciano

Following three years of general practice in Schenectady, New York, Dr. Musciano completed a residency in Prosthodontics at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Buffalo, N.Y. from 1989-1991. He then was certified in Maxillofacial Prosthetics at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, also in Buffalo, New York.

Dr. Musciano is a member of numerous organizations including the American College of Prosthodontics, Maine Dental Association, Pierre Fauchard Academy and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics. He is a consultant at both Maine Medical Center and Mercy Hospital, as well as Eastern Maine Medical Center Cleft Palate team.

Dr. Musciano’s clinical interests include dental oncology, oral health and prosthetics for cancer patients, fixed and removable prosthetics, implant prosthetics and a special interest in maxillofacial prosthetics. He has been a member of the Portland Cleft Palate Team since 1992 and enjoys participating in the care of children with cleft lip and palate, as well as those with other congenital problems.

Dr. Musciano and his wife, Dana both grew up in upstate New York. They raised their three children in Falmouth, Maine.
